Building shapes and lines in their settings always appeal to me.

Well, and IDEA of parrots I suppose. I don't know why this streak suddenly cvame upon me. Acrylic on canvas.

On the whole, it is better these days not to go to the shopping and tourist areas, too many cops, to much chance of getting hassled. So I stayed home, read, and did a couple of paintings. I know, I should be more diligent.

Get messy. And don't always do what you want. Partly because you are "handed" in the strokes, and tend to get all the texture in the4 same direction. So I think this looks better at this angle than the upright original. A bitr of cropping helps too.

I spent a while fascinated by the buildings of modern Beijing. This is the China National Offshore Oil building, and it is seen in its third rework here, although it would probably be easier to chuck it out and do it again! It's still not right, but I have to move on.
