The Year that was

Remember me?   I thought not.....

I will continue anyways...

So what have I been doing for the past year?  Well not much actually,  but here are the broadstrokes

Bought myself a nice laptop..... and then dropped it,  which was nice

   

Bought myself a cheap car to tootle ( yes tootle is a word)  around in, 
until someone decided to break it...

"  

then they waited until I fixed it,  before they broke it again

  

then they stole it ( it used to be next to that caravan)

 

then I "walked into a door"

oh yes,  then I broke my toe..

and several other things I shall not bore you with.

So, how was your year?

Yes please......

.....was the cry when asked if I wanted some free gravel for my backgarden. Free has to be a good thing...right?

Well , as I sit on my sofa letting the heaing effects of wine wash over my aching back I feel able to talk about how
after loading the 30+ bags heavy bags  into the back of my van(in the pouring rain I might add) the final leg of the journey began to fill me with dread.

Once home I had to transport

from my carpark, down this alley that runs down the back of my row of houses

Yes the FULL length......

To my garden, to their final resting place( well for today at least)

 

Damn I need new wndows!!!

 

So......

What have I been upto since you last saw me.....

Well not growing Up, that's for damn sure.....

Today is my Birthday, another year older and all that.

In years gone by I would spend my day buyng clothes,  or in the pub or buying shed loads of dvd's

This year?
I got a new shower curtain and some curtain pole ends I have had my eye on for a while. Oh how times change.

Just to remind me I am getting older,  I spotted this in the mirror this morning.....

A white eyebrow??   What is that all about!!!

Imagine if......

A work colleague tells you they got bored one night, so drank a bottle of wine in 10 minutes.........

then awoke in the early hours to find they had wet the bed......

 

What am I to do with this information??
