Ongoing costs = $19.99 per month (approx £10 depending on exchange rate) to 21Publish for hosting 250 users.

Current balance in NoChex cannot be confirmed at the moment - they have suspended the account through lack of activity(!). I just need to send the some ID to get it reactivated...

Hello one and all... this post is just to say thank you to everyone who has donated to the running of Platform27. To say we have been overwhelmed by everyone's generosity would be a MASSIVE understatement.

We have received so far a grand total of £265, which after deducting Paypal / Nochex fees, and the first month's bill leaves us £243.34 on hand.

That's enough for the next 20 months at our current level!  You are all absolute stars!

The only downside for both of these, is that they charge a flat rate of £0.20 + approx 3%, so if you wanted to donate, say, £1 a month, Paypal or NoChex will grab about 23p of it... You might be better off doing a few months at a time, otherwise charges will gobble up a quarter of your donation every time.

Not that I'm trying to promote larger donations, of course!
