20Six down
I had a long discussion about the film "Blackhawk Down" yesterday. Apparently it is 'based on a true story' and portrays the American military as a bunch of idiots.
American war films and anything that is 'based on a true story' are surely a recipe for disaster.
So, is this one to avoid? If so can you recommend a good film for the weekend.
Thanking you.

Sceptical Too many books
I don't know about you but I enjoy reading. Being an avid reader does mean that I tend to spend all my money on books and that I have boks lying around all over the place.
It got worse after I had kids because they're yet another excuse to buy books. After all they are educational. In addition I have book cases everywhere.
But now my problem has been solved. I have discovered the best way to store my beloved books. AND it combines my other hobby of drinking beer.
Yes. A book bar. A bar made from books. How cool is that.

Full details on the coinstruction of your own book bar can be found here.

Happy No! as in, not yes.
Whether it comes from the ruby red lips of a young virgin or grizzled jaws of a hoverFrog, no means NO!
I have no desire to change my telephone supplier, gas supplier, electricity company or mortgage. I don't want double glazing or a conservatory. I'm not interested in a loan, credit card or life insurance. I'm not interested in giving you my opinions in a survey (unless you are offering me real money) and certainly don't want to discuss car insurance.

Junk mail comes through my letter box and goes straight into the recycling bin unread.
If I want to change something from one supplier to another I will look for someone cheaper. Me! Myself! Alone! If I'm paying too much then that's my hard luck and I don't need someone ringing me up to tell me. Especially when they don't have a clue who I use for their particular service anyway.
And another thing. If you knock on my door trying to sell something (including salvation for my eternal soul. Not that I believe I've got one.) expect me to either laugh at you or be quite rude.
It isn't that they're trying to sell something to me. I can live with that. It's that when I say I'm not interested they don't give up.

Please refer any sales people here for further help.

....always.
Don't forget to vote. Not even if you're the only one voting for your candidate. We don't get many opportunities to change the world we live in but voting is one small way.
So vote, even if you think it might be a waste of time.
Now that I've lectured you I can point out that no one I've ever voted for has ever won. Not even when I was a student.
