Flipping 20Six and it's bleeding problems.  Arrggg!

If I get kicked out one more time today I'm not going back.  Ever!

*deep breaths*

I don't mean it really.  I know that technical problems occur from time to time.  It just doesn't seem that the cause of the problems are being addressed.  I'm probably wrong.  In fact almost certainly but it is still annoying.

Thanks for listening to my little rant.

Being tight

Taking some inspiration from SoCheap I've been fretting about my finances.  Like most people I like to get the best deal for things I buy and services I use. 

My mortgage is on quite a good deal but not the best, I buy from Tesco's rather than Waitrose (except when I'm in a rush) and I try to use the cheapest utilities supplier.

However I was concerned that the recent hike in British Gas prices was going to burn a hole in my pocket.  However it seems that staying with British Gas is quite a good idea.  At least acording to this.  That'll teach me to get paranoid.

I've also decided to make a financial plan and stick to it.  Having four kids means my money just seems to disappear so I've decided that they're going on a budget too.  I'll have to make a spread sheet and do some tinkering.  I think it's a good idea to budget for a reason as well so I've also decided that I'm going to fund a 6 week holiday for the six of us to North America.  I want to ski in California, visit the Grand Canyon, see some friends in Orlando and take the kids to DisneyLand before they're too old.

I've posted an entry about the Ides of March on my other blog but the writing of it has got me all in a Shakespearean mood.

Flipping 20Six

This is the thing that makes me mad about 20Six:

It's down. 

Every now and then I just can't get on.  Could this be for a number of reasons I suppose but there is no way for me to find out why I can't get on to my regular blog.  Once in a while I could accept but it seems to be once a week at the moment.

Grumble grumble.

Anyway this is my first blog entry on Platform 27.
