I Did something I'd not done for a long time last night.
Get your mind out of the gutter. I'm talking about laughing out loud at a book. Complete cackling giggle fits of laughter.
The Book? 'Return of the Time Waster Letters' by Robin Cooper. The book is made up of a series of letters between Robin Cooper (A non de Plume) & various organisations. In which he asks for help & advice from the organisation. Along the way we get introduced to his wife (Who I'm afraid has a bad ankle), Camfy the Wild Boar & Parmaynu ™
That's a rather dry description of what goes on in the book & you really need to read the bizarre & increasingly surreal letters, coupled with drawings that look like they've been done by a small child. All of which had me in fits.
I'm borrowing 'The Timewaster Letters' tonight.

V for Vendetta
In the Launderette the other day I saw a bus go past with an advert for this film. I must admit I'm getting rather excited about seeing it. Espescially since I've watched the trailers on the films'website.
The Imax version isn't playing in Birmingham though. Bastards. I'll have to look out for it somewhere else I can get to.

Destroy all Humans
Well I don't have to mess about doing the first entry thing. I've been
blogging a while & know why I've turned up at this site. More about
that later.
So just a word about the PS2 game "Destroy all Humans" My mate got it for Christmas, I've been playing it alot at his. I'll be buying it for myself, it's fucking superb. It's got all the touches from the fifties sci-fi paranoia films, as seen through a twisted lens similar to the one used in 'Mars Attacks'
