Knees

Got in from work yesterday & was mooching around the Blogosphere & noticed a meme/theme had been resurrected. I'm actually quite surprised I didn't take part last time.
As we finished work on site at dinner time I've been sitting in my local beer garden enjoying the glorious sunshine 'til now when I remembered the meme/theme. I'll think about adding links when I get back, but for now ladies & gentlemen. May I present to you...
...My Knees.

Ithangyu.

My New Favourite thing.

Makita is my New Favourite Thing.
Look at that bucket of coach bolts & washers.
Look at the stretch of fence. Makita has made my life a lot easier.

Oh Lucky man.

A parcel arrived today from a friend who visited France recently. In it there was a small bottle of Pastis. I have just been out to buy an ice cube tray. Well let's face it, there's not been much cause to use one this year. Once I have ice, in a few hours time, I will pop out in the garden and have a nice drink tasting of France.
I also have fruit cake & Coffee for dinner.

Sandwhich Spread.

It's not as nice as I remembered it being. I *was* thinking about looking for some 'Toast Toppers'. Do they still do them?

Maybe I shouldn't bother.

Coming from the nokia 9500 via GPRS cool eh?

I Did something I'd not done for a long time last night.

Get your mind out of the gutter. I'm talking about laughing out loud at a book. Complete cackling giggle fits of laughter.

The Book? 'Return of the Time Waster Letters' by Robin Cooper. The book is made up of a series of letters between Robin Cooper (A non de Plume) & various organisations. In which he asks for help & advice from the organisation. Along the way we get introduced to his wife (Who I'm afraid has a bad ankle), Camfy the Wild Boar & Parmaynu ™

That's a rather dry description of what goes on in the book & you really need to read the bizarre & increasingly surreal letters, coupled with drawings that look like they've been done by a small child. All of which had me in fits.

I'm borrowing 'The Timewaster Letters' tonight.

About me
Just some of the stuff I get up to.
