Thanks to all the people who enquired, I was about 30,000 feet over the earthquake on my way back to Europe when the quake hit. Apparently they felt it in the office in Beijing, but we have no families lost or affected on the staff.

Good news! I've texted you and I was a little worried. I remembered you mentioned you were due back in the UK on the 12th so I was hoping all was ok.
