1. This weekend I shall be a garden geek and be buying lovely things for my gaden. (Top priority - mint, for the jelups)
2. Despite being broke I managed to buy 2 pairs of shoes last night. Idiot. Will I never learn?
3. My brother comes home after 2 years away in 3 weeks time - I am sooooooooooooo excited!
Flat Saga - Episode 248
Though my tenancy at "Hell Hall" is now over and I've moved out, I'm still getting shafted by the filthy freaks I used to live wtih. They've decided how much they think should be deducted from our deposit and told the sheep who is replacing me what to pay me (just over half of a 6 week deposit) and she's done as she's told.
I will fight to the bitter end as they've being so unreasonable and greedy but it's so tiring having to battle every step of the way with them.
I could say that any amount of money is worth paying for getting out of having to live with such morons, and that's true, but it's the principle of being taken advantage of that I can't stomach, dammit!
Still - now living somewhere where my food doesn't get stolen, the loo doesn't look like one in a grubby hostel and where the washing up gets done. It's bliss.
I should have given more credit to my (wary) frist impressions of them. Any guy who emails you about a spare room you have going and finishes with this P.S. " Obviously you cant judge a book by it's cover, and I'm not suggesting we go on a date, and all those sorts of disclaimers, but let's admit to a basic human truth that we judge by appearance." and attaches a picture of himself.... well, that's a warning there's a strong change he's a smug git.
Current mood:
Angry Quick random question for you.....
Can't locate/make aerial in new house work....obviously Love Island is a priority right now, so how well do those aerials you just plug in the back and sit on top of your TV work? In central London Im' assuming there's a strong signal right..or am I hoping for too much ?
I'm a vile creature today - a bubbling cauldron of bad temper and malevonent thoughts. Just in case anything nasty slips out I thougth I should warn you first.
Don't you find you don't have one crap thing happen, but a whole avalanche of them all at once?
Grump grump.
Have you got a story that'll make me smile?
