Mom and son and doing just fine and living in Waxahachie, Texas.  This is about 40 miles south of Dallas/Fort Worth on highway I35E and US287.

The wife and I are down here visiting and won't be back to Ohio until around the 7th of April.  My other daughter (with her two kids) will be coming down from Denver to see the latest one.  We certainly will have a house full.

Progress Report

We have made great strides towards our goal on the DHR. We have added a new member to help us dress bits of the line. Work progressed through winter which saw us produce yet another of what we call "Skinny" routes. This is a route with just the trainboards that have tracks on them. The full length of the line. Many new items have been produced by the group as well as progress on their individual areas of interest.

Take a new look at the site we maintain: The DHR site

A Nice Trip

The wife and I just arrived here in Waxahachie, Texas about two hours ago. Drove down from Ohio in just two days of travelling (1048 miles, according to my GPS). Temperatures are much better than up North - upwards of 75 or so each day.

My daughter heads to the hospital tomorrow to have her baby - her fourth, and our 6th grandchild. We're here for moral support and to help drive the other kids to high and junior high schools. The oldest girl is just about ready to get her drivers license, but hasn't taken the test yet.

More later.
